MCM Expo ~ May 2014 ~ Part 1

I have been doing so much I've barely had time to update ~ 

So this post is about MCM Expo Comic Con ~ May 2014 (2 months ago haha)

This year we had a much bigger stall in the Pop Asia area ~ along with Tofu Cute and Dreamy Bows

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu ~ April 2014

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu came back to the UK for her second visit!

I went to see her at the O2 Shepherds Bush, London

We were absolutely thrilled to be part of the first 'Enchanted' Lolita Convention- hosted by The Tea Party Club (Frock On) and the Street Fashion Europe Team (events from all over Europe)

The event took place at the beautiful Gibson Hall, Bank, London - a very elegant venue in the heart of London with traditional and stylish interiors

 

The first day was the main event - including a mixture of different sellers, a fashion show, make up tutorials, the raffle and a lovely cake buffet

Special guests at the event were very exciting!

Minori, Hitomi (Grimoire) and the brand Atelier Pierrot

I was particularly excited to meet Minori after seeing her for the first time back in July at Japan Expo, Paris.

I have been a big fan of her style for a while now and I wanted to welcome her to the UK with a special gift! I made her a custom fascinator decorated with roses, glitter, birds, keys and much more.

Roxie Girls Love... Kerli

So a little while back I got the chance to send Kerli some custom items!

I worked on a new design inspired by Kerli and her unique Bubblegoth style ^_^

♥ Kerli received her goodies and posted about them on her Facebook Page! ♥

This is the necklace I made her:  The necklace features the Kerli illustration printed onto layered acrylic, 3D 'Kerli' printed layer, black glitter and holographic wings backing and two-tone chunky chain.

On the right is the design printed onto a black cropped vest top

I also gave Kerli the Creepy Cute Bat Ring in black and wrote her a little note ^_^

"So into this amazing custom gift from Roxie Sweetheart  They made a top and a necklace with my name on it!! Thank you so much guys!! This is seriously #rad"

She was then kind enough to make a Fashion Spotlight post on her Buzznet about the brand
