The Lolita Tea Party

I was fortunate enough to be part of a wonderful afternoon tea party for my Lolita friend Alana's leaving do.
We dined at the fabulous Drink, Shop & Do along Caledonian Road Near Kings Cross Station, London.

I chose an Earl Grey tea which was served in a lovely big vintage tea pot with floral tea cups, followed by a delightfully rich and flavorsome smoked salmon pate, yummy!

We sat downstairs in the venue so that we could have a large enough table. It was nicely lit with some Christmas tunes playing in the background.

After our lunch we headed over to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park.

This was the perfect place to get into the Christmas mood!
There were lots and lots of stalls selling nice gifts, sweets, hot drinks and german style food.
I had a lovely hot cup of gluhwein (mulled wine) which was very nice - full of spices and very sweet.

We didn't go on too many rides because it was quite expensive - probably what you would expect of the main Christmas attraction in central London... but we did manage to go on the wonderful merry-go-round, always fun ^^

Merry Christmas everyone!
