High Street Fashion Week - London 2013!

The Roxie Girls rocked the catwalk at High Street Fashion Week - showcasing the new S/S 2013 jewellery & accessories range at Aura Mayfair, London!

Each girl had a different style; Pink Roxie Girl, Mystical Mermaid, Magical Unicorn, 90's (Be Happy) and Creepy Cute!

Styling was sweet-dolly with big eye-lashes, pink lipstick and cute hair buns or pigtails with glitter hairspray. Models were styled with cropped vests (Roxie Logo on backs), matching metallic rainbow skater skirts and black platform shoes with co-ordinating shoe clips!

Lolitas Love... Alpacas!

As far as Lolita meets go, this was definitely the most unusual (and the most fun)!

We took a trip to Chichester where we went to Dunreyth Alpacas - Alpaca farm!

Now, alpacas are quite rare in the UK, and are actually quite different to Llamas which they are often compared to. They are a lot smaller and also generally have a much more placid and kinder temperament. 

We met the alpacas and some of us were introduced to out own individual alpaca which we were then allowed to lead around. 

My alpaca, Dusty, was super cute, a little shy (he wasn't sure about being stroked, though he got used to it in the end ^^) and very well behaved compared to some of the others!

As we walked around we noticed some peoples alpacas were more naughty than others! Some of them enjoyed eating the foliage at the side of the path, and some liked to brush themselves up against the holly bushes :) Dusty wasn't bothered about the bushes or the foliage, though he did like a bit of grass on the hillside and he was scared of the giant puddle we had to walk around! I thought it was unusual that all the alpacas were male, though we were told that the males are far more well behaved than the females ^^

We were super lucky with the weather and though it did snow a little, it was dry and not too cold.

After visiting the farm we went into Chichester - a beautiful Hampshire town. We decided to go to a cute bakery/cake shop and there we enjoyed tea & cake!

I can't wait to go back to the alpaca farm! Next time will be in the sunshine hopefully, and maybe involved a picnic or two - it's well worth a visit! Alpaca farms are quite rare they are definitely worth a visit so check out any places near you ^^

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu comes to London! きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ - Part 2!

☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥  After all the excitement of the day before I couldn't wait to go and see Kyary live in London! ☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥ 

I went to a meet initially with a group of my cute Lolita/J-Fashion friends.

We met up in China Town and went to the London Photo Sticker Club which is a super cool Purikura photo place (above a shop containing a ton of cute sanrio/cute/kitty things!!) where you can get some Japanese style photos done with your friends ^^

As part of our KPP meet we decided to make a banner to take to the concert. I worked on the banner initially, using my illustration in the center. 

☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥  Everyone then signed the banner, leaving their own special message to Kyary ☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥ 

We then made our way to the O2 Academy in Islington for the concert!

The queue was pretty long and for quite a while it was even snowing- pure dedication!

We had some short filming and photos taken of the banner and some individual interviews too.

☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥  The concert was amazing! ☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥ 

I especially loved all the dance routines and her outfits and she also previewed her new song 

Ninjyari Ban Ban which was super catchy ^^

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu comes to London! きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ - Part 1!

☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥ The beautiful, stylish and talented Japanese singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu finally came to London to perform at the O2 Academy, Islington! ☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥

I have been a fan of Kyary for a while now, her super catchy songs like PONPONPON, Cherry Bonbon and most recently Fashion Monster and Furisodeshon combine so well with her upbeat dance routines and extravagant and colourful outfits.

So I managed to get tickets to see Kyary in London and I was super excited! I have never seen her before plus I got to go with a big group of my close friends who love her too ^^

I decided to design a collection of jewelley inspired by Kyary; An illustrative design on a brooch and a necklace, plus a double ring with bold and colourful Pamyu Pamyu text.

  ☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥ MY SURPRISE MEETING WITH KYARY! ☆.¸¸.•´¯`♥ 

The day before the gig I was invited to do an interview with Japanese TV station ZIP! TV (Nippon TV)

We were asked some questions like 'Why do you like Kyary? What is your favourite song What do you like about her style?'  I was also asked about the jewellery I was wearing as it was the Kyary designs I had made. 

Then, just as I was explaining how much I would love to give Kyary herself some of the jewellery, she appeared, as if from nowhere! I was so so shocked, it was a wonderful surprise :D

I was very happy because I was then able to give Kyary the necklace and double ring I had designed for her. It was such a crazy moment, I still can't believe it happened!!!
