As you may have already probably guessed I LOVE christmas!
I'm kinda obsessed with ornaments and objects which give a memory- of childhood or of the time you discovered each object and fell in love with its glitter sheen or pretty detailing.
I have quite a large collection of decorations for my christmas tree and each year I love re-discovering them and admiring their beauty.
I hope you enjoy this sweet snippets of my tree as much as I do : )

Hey! Check out some new illustrations I've been working on for a brand new Roxie Sweetheart collection!
The drawings have a hand-drawn fairytale feel, inspired by children's toys from the 80's,
vintage illustration and sweet Tokyo fashion like Gothic Lolita and Anime characters.

So the event Hyper Japan last weekend in London was super fun!!!
Everyone there made a huge effort to dress up in Cosplay and Manga outfits and the event was definitely a sucess!

Soon to follow are details of a special competition hosted by Hyper Japan!
There will be a Roxie Sweetheart feature, interview and some special photos of the models from the event wearing the jewellery : D

I have been very busy making lots of lovely pretty new pieces of jewellery : ) Here is a little sneaky peek and a few photos from my mini jewellery photo-shoot!
(jewellery coming soon to the boutique: golden heart locket, bears and bows bracelet, rainbow rain lockets, cream tea bracelet, bambi treasure necklace, vintage picture rings...)

My inspiration came from a vintage treasure trove and my recent watch of Alice in Wonderland. I still persoanlly love the original book and Disney version of the film, although Tim Burton put a wonderful sweet-yet-twisted slant on the magical story...

Little bread-and-butterflies kiss the tulips, and the sun is like a toy balloon.
There are get up in the morning glories, in the golden afternoon.
There are dizzy daffodils on the hillside, strings of violets are all in tune, Tiger lilies love the dandelions, in the golden afternoon, the golden afternoon.
There are dog and caterpillars and a copper centipede, where the lazy daisies love the very peaceful life they lead...
There's a wealth of happiness and romance, all in the golden afternoon. ...
